Announcing the Seventh Annual ZDNet Shareware Awards

Attention all shareware authors!
ZDNet is proud to present the seventh annual ZDNet Shareware Awards, honoring 
the year's best PC-based shareware.  These awards, to salute the work of shareware 
industry authors, will be announced on ZDNet Downloads on July 13th, and there 
will be an award presentation ceremony at the Shareware Industry Conference in 
Tampa, FL. All programs in ZDNet Downloads that were released or significantly 
upgraded between April 14, 1999 and April 13, 2000 will be considered for awards. 

Submission Deadline
The submission deadline for this year's awards is Thursday, April 13, 2000, 11:59pm 
EDT. 

Eligibility Criteria
If your program is not in ZDNet Downloads, or you have released a major update, 
please submit it before Thursday, April 13, 2000, 11:59pm EDT to our upload Website, 
Upload.com: http://www.upload.com. If your program is already in ZDNet Downloads 
and you are not planning an update, there is no need to resubmit it for Shareware 
Awards consideration.

Submission Instructions
ZDNet Downloads operates an uploading Website specifically for shareware authors: 
Upload.com, http://www.upload.com. Upload.com allows you to upload your program 
using your Web browser. It's fast, easy, only takes a click or two, and gives 
detailed instructions that walk you through the process. To submit your program 
for Shareware Awards consideration, point your browser to http://www.upload.com, 
log in, and follow the instructions. Please note: The first time you visit Upload.com 
you will need to register.  Registration is free, takes only a few moments, and 
is only required the first time you log in.
