I found a source for Tcl/Tk that has the latest release of Tcl/Tk for
Macs. It's in the form of a Mac installer. Plus easy drag-n-drop
instructions for making self starting files for apps.

This would be a good site to link to. The link that you have now
doesn't d/l a version of Tcl that works with new Macs nor does it
conform to what you describe in your instructions.
I've made the self started and tried it a little the splash screen
looks good, but the set-up screen is a little squirrley. I let you
know after I reboot if the bugs clear out.
