of normal conversation for that evening.

+ Vincent (narrating): We parted ways the very next day.
+ Vincent (narrating): And as I had desired, Cloud failed to approach me
during his "interrogation" of our group.

+ [[Present-day Vincent looking tired.]]
+ Vincent (narrating): I wonder now if that had been a good idea.

+ [[Vincent walking through the forest, carrying his sack of dead frogs.]]
+ Vincent (narrating): I was the only one who successfully dodged the question
of my responsibility to the planet.  If I had not been so reticent that
evening, I might not be relegated to my current state...
