I don't think that you should do that because there could be security 
consequences.  The only way I run a server on my computers is if they run 
under chroot(8).  That way, if the server gets cracked or loses its mind, it 
only hurts the directory tree that I've set aside for it.  Even a personal 
server might have bad consequences for the person running it such uninvited 
persons being able to browse or rewrite her files.  How would it be if a a PGP 
secret keyring were silently rewritten?

I'm not saying that OpenVerse.tcl + wish aren't secure but I am saying that 
there might be a time when they become insecure, say by the introduction of 
new features.

That's my opinion.
