[OpenVerse] New format, drastic changes.

Heyas,

First off, We had the honor of having tigert visit the openverse today. Tigett
is hte artist for many gnome things among other opensourced artwork. I was very
flatered!!! I believe it was echo who invited him... Kudos echo!



   Several of us have come to the conclusion that the map scheme is both boring
and ahead of it's time in the evolution of OV.

  As neo suggested to me yesterday, we need to tighten things up. give things a
theme give more opportunities for people to become a part of the scenery which
each room is.

  On this note, a major redesign is going to take place of the OV over the next
few days. The folks who are running location specific servers are more than
welcomed to get involved in the removations. Everyone can fit in somewhere.

  The idea is this.

The main room will become a living room.

>From here you can go to a myriad of rooms, the possibilities are endless.. out
the window, into the fishtank (type /connect 24.28.32.71 7000) into the stereo,
into the television, onto the book shelf, into the telepehone, in with the
dustbunnies in the coushions on fht esofa, under the rug.. I could go on and on
and have probably already done so for too long but the basic point is to make
OV much more fun than it currently is.

Ideas on fun things for the new format to come are welcomed... especially
welcomed is art! take pictures of the odd thigns you might find in a living
room!
