Version 0.2
This plugin allows for you to spit out definitions from a dictionary file stored on your unix system. It might work on dos if you have a dictionary program that works the same way and change the command variable in the script. I used the dict program, available from http://www.dict.org. In theory however, any command line program could be used if the plugin is adapted.
To use the plugin, just enter '/dict wordtolookup', without quotes of course. 'wordtolookup' is whatever word you want to lookup, or if you modify the plugin, whatever arguements you want to send to the command.
Cruise helped a ton on this plugin, but most of the credit goes to Joshua Kleiner. E-mail him at: jbk6635@njit.edu.
Download [zip] or [tar.gz] for the Dictionary plugin and unzip this into your personal OpenVerse plugins dir. This will be ~/.OpenVerse/plugins You must restart OpenVerse to activate the plugin.
