OpenVerse Images
The OpenVerse currently supports one type of image file.
You must use GIF images when creating avatars. Here is
a general breakdown on where to put images, and where to find
images other people are using.
images/ The images directory is where all images which are
used by OpenVerse go. When you select Load Image
from AvEd it will built a list from the files in this directory.
On a windows machine, this is the images subdirectory in your
OpenVerse directory. On a UNIX-like box, this will be in your
personal OpenVerse directory (~/.OpenVerse/images)
rimages This is where all of the images other people are
wearing go. If you would like to wear it too, just copy it over
into your images directory and build an avatar from it.
