More likely I forgot to do anything about it altogether.

For those wondering wtf we're on about, a few weeks ago some of us
talked about meeting up this summer in Daytona Beach, FL.  It's a
great party town, and everything there seems pretty cheap.  There are
literally miles of beachfront hotels; most of them have bars and most
of them are cheap.  Lots of them are cheap because they suck, but hey,
you're only gonna sleep and shower there anyway.  Could do it
college-style and pack 15 people into two adjacent rooms.

Any weekend from the middle of June through the end of July seems like
a good time.  It looks like air fares start to increase closer to
August.
